Job Description

Our client, in Kearney NE , a leading agricultural seed production company, is seeking a Seed Technician to join their team. As a Seed Technician, you will be part of the Production team supporting seed processing and field operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and strong teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

20.00 per hour What's the Job? Perform seed processing, cleaning, sorting, counting, treating, packaging, and labeling activities. Support field operations including planting, pollinating, harvesting, data collection, and note-taking. Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic inventory systems. Operate, monitor, and perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on equipment. Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and quality standards while supporting production goals. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of related manufacturing, production, agriculture, or seed industry experience. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel experience. Ability to lift, bend, stand, or sit for extended periods and work overtime during peak seasons. What's in it for me? Consistent first-shift schedule starting at 6:00 AM.
