Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet established quality standards and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance within manufacturing environments, particularly in food production, and possess strong attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to maintaining high-quality food products through rigorous inspection and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of food products during various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards. Work on the production line ensuring GMP, HACCP, and OSHA standards. Utilize measuring instruments accurately to verify product specifications and consistency. Interpret production documents to understand quality requirements and specifications. Apply GMP guidelines consistently to maintain a safe and hygienic production environment. Monitor and document quality assurance processes, identifying deviations or potential issues promptly. Collaborate with production staff to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of inspections, measurements, and quality assessments for traceability and compliance purposes. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and manufacturing processes.
Experience Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, preferably in food production. Familiarity with measuring instruments used in quality control processes. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data analysis. Ability to interpret production documents accurately to ensure compliance with specifications. Knowledge of GMP standards and their application in a food manufacturing environment. Understanding of quality standards relevant to food production processes.
