Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Agricultural Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on farm machinery, construction equipment, and industrial machinery using advanced electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, tire services, brake repairs, and system inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance. Utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues related to transmissions, diesel engines, air brakes, suspensions, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair requirements. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently during service procedures. Assist with assembly or disassembly of complex machinery components for repair or replacement purposes. Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating repair findings and maintenance recommendations to clients. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed for compliance and future reference. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during equipment operation and maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience working with dealership service departments or in heavy equipment maintenance roles. Strong mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, construction equipment, industrial machinery, and automotive systems. Proficiency with electrical diagnostics, schematics reading, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other construction machinery. Knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and repair procedures including transmissions, air brakes, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and hydraulics. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic software, and service manuals effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating tractor-trailers is a plus. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills. Certifications related to heavy equipment mechanics or diesel technology are preferred but not mandatory.
