Job Description

Join Cargill as a Wilbur Chocolate Store Specialty Candy Maker, crafting premium chocolates and confections in a historic, customer-focused setting. You'll prepare, temper, mold, and decorate chocolate and specialty candies while following precise recipes and strict food safety, sanitation, and quality standards. Collaborate with a supportive team, help create eye catching product displays, and occasionally engage with guests through samples and product information, all within Cargill's culture of integrity, safety, learning, and innovation. Responsibilities Produce and decorate specialty chocolates and candies to Wilbur Chocolate quality standards Operate and maintain confectionery and packaging equipment safely Follow recipes, portioning, and quality control procedures Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies and restock as needed Package, label, and display finished products for retail sales Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and store demand Document production data, waste, and quality issues Support product tastings, sampling, and customer inquiries in-store Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives Required Skills Chocolate tempering Candy making and confectionery techniques Food safety and sanitation (HACCP/GMP) Commercial kitchen equipment operation Weighing, measuring, and batching ingredients Quality control and product inspection Packaging and labeling Inventory handling and stock rotation Basic food production documentation Customer service in retail food environments
