Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Gelato Scooper, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create delightful experiences for our customers! In this energetic role, you'll serve up delicious gelato and other treats with a smile, ensuring each guest leaves happy and eager to return. Your friendly attitude, quick service skills, and attention to food safety will be essential in providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced, fun environment. If you love working with people, have a passion for food, and thrive on making every guest's day brighter, this position is perfect for you! Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting from a variety of gelato flavors and toppings Scoop and serve gelato efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation Operate Toast POS to process transactions accurately and quickly Upsell additional treats or beverages to enhance the customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including sanitizing utensils, counters, and display cases Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity during busy hours Support food preparation tasks such as restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring food safety compliance Experience Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or grocery store setting Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Experience in culinary arts or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory Join us to bring joy through sweet treats while developing your skills in food service!
