Sales Agronomist/Manager -
Full Time Location:
Eastern Iowa (This job does not require living in Cedar Rapids exactly, but in the general area of Eastern IA).
Salary:
$75-85,000
Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Agronomist/Manager on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing existing clients, expanding our customer base, and promoting value-added precision agricultural services in Eastern Iowa. Additionally, managing seasonal soil sampling crews is a key aspect of this position.
Responsibilities:
Service existing clients in the region, addressing their agricultural needs and ensuring customer satisfaction. Proactively seek and secure new sales opportunities, promoting our range of precision ag services. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our services to potential clients. Manage and coordinate seasonal soil sampling crews, ensuring efficient and accurate sample collection. Assist in field operations and the recruitment of seasonal samplers. Utilize your agronomic expertise to provide recommendations and solutions that align with client goals. Meet and exceed sales targets through effective relationship building and sales initiatives. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and other relevant data. Uphold company standards and represent the organization professionally in all interactions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field. Proven sales experience and demonstrated success in agricultural sales. Strong agronomic background with the ability to provide technical support to clients. CCA encouraged but not required Previous management experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory. Salary up to $85,000 based on sales experience, with multiple bonuses plus commission. Company vehicle provided, along with covered expenses.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
