Job Description

Full Time, 1st Shift, 4 week days, every other weekend Must complete assigned duties/tasks professionally, accurately and as timely as possible. Must have a thorough knowledge understanding of Room Service, dish room, food handling, cleaning and sanitation processes. Responsible for soiled tray removal from patient rooms in a polite, professional and friendly manner. Responsible for trash removal, floor care, bathroom sanitation and cleanliness. Must be able to multi-task and work at a fast consistent pace. Records food service and DHEC logs and records. Upholds all
DHEC/DNV
regulation in regard to food safety, facility upkeep, cleaning and sanitation. Must maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in work area according to policies/procedures. Upholds proper personal and hand hygiene practices at all times. Relays any identified problems to a department leader in a timely manner. Must be flexible with schedule times. Completes any other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Coordinator, Specialist or Management. These responsibilities contribute to meeting the nutrition needs of the patients and all others served. High School diploma/GED or one-year applicable food service/customer service experience. Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions regarding logs, sanitation, patient care, and infection control policies. Pushing weights up to 200# required. Constant walking and standing are necessary
