Culinary Specialist / Food Service Tech NHC HealthCare Lawrenceburg | Lawrenceburg, Tennessee Employment Type Full Time Schedule Negotiable Pay Depends on Experience NHC HealthCare Lawrenceburg is seeking a dependable and caring Culinary Specialist / Food Service Tech to join our dietary team. This blended role includes food preparation and cooking responsibilities along with meal service, dining support, and general food service duties. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing appealing, nutritious meals while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our patients and residents. Prepare meals and menu items according to recipes, production sheets, portion standards, and therapeutic diet requirements. Maintain appropriate food temperatures, quality, presentation, and portion control. Prepare meal trays and help ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time. Assist with dining room setup, meal service, and cleanup. Follow special dietary instructions and therapeutic diet requirements as directed. Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment. Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, storage, and food preparation areas. Receive, rotate, label, and properly store food and supplies. Follow food safety, sanitation, infection control, safety, and NHC procedures. Communicate effectively with dietary leadership and fellow team members. Provide courteous service to patients, residents, families, visitors, and fellow partners.
