Master Technician - Foodservice Equipment Response Logistics (an RRS Brands company) | Bastrop, TX & Surrounding Region | Full-Time, Field-Based About the Role Response Logistics keeps commercial kitchens running—from disaster-response catering operations to modular kitchen and concessions rentals across the region. We're hiring a Master Technician to be the senior hand our clients and crew rely on when equipment goes down and downtime isn't an option. This is a field-based role for a seasoned pro who can diagnose, repair, and recommission commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment without hand-holding. You'll be the technical authority in the field, and the person we trust on the toughest calls. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair commercial cooking equipment (gas and electric ranges, fryers, ovens, griddles, broilers, steamers) Service and troubleshoot refrigeration systems (reach-ins, walk-ins, prep tables, ice machines) Maintain and repair steam, dish, and warewashing equipment (dishmachines, steamers, kettles, boilers) Perform on-site diagnostics, component-level repair, and preventive maintenance across client locations Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer service bulletins Manage your truck stock, document service calls accurately, and communicate clearly with clients and dispatch Mentor junior techs and serve as the go-to escalation point for complex jobs What You Bring 7+ years of hands-on commercial foodservice equipment service experience Strong diagnostic skills across gas, electric, refrigeration, and steam/warewashing systems EPA 608 certification (refrigerant handling) CFESA certification strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in hot kitchen environments, and respond to occasional after-hours or emergency calls A professional, customer-facing demeanor—you represent us on every call Why Response Logistics Competitive pay commensurate with senior experience, plus performance incentives Company service vehicle , tools allowance, and fuel covered Paid CFESA and manufacturer certifications —we invest in keeping you at the top of the trade Health benefits, paid time off, and retirement options Steady, varied work across multiple verticals—no two days the same A growing company where a master tech's expertise is genuinely valued, not buried in a queue Ready to Apply?
