Job Description
As a Culinary Specialist at ARAMARK's Avir at Paluxy location, you'll prepare and present high quality meals in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, cooking menu items to specification, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and supporting inventory and kitchen organization. You'll collaborate with team members to ensure timely service, consistent quality, and an excellent guest experience. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards Set up, stock, and break down food stations and prep areas Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Assist with inventory, labeling, and proper storage of food and supplies Monitor food quality, presentation, and temperature Follow safety procedures for equipment operation and kitchen workflows Coordinate with team members to ensure timely meal service Support menu changes, specials, and catering needs as directed Receive and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality Provide courteous service and respond to guest or client needs Required Skills Food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Knife handling and basic culinary skills Recipe and portion control adherence Time management in high-volume service Kitchen equipment operation and care Inventory, labeling, and storage procedures Basic math for measurements and portions Teamwork and communication in a kitchen Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
