The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing various machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, performing routine inspections, and executing preventative maintenance tasks. We're a machinery manufacturer that has been operating in the area for over 60 years with an emphasis on food production equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and wiring issues.
Assemble and install machines according to specifications.
Conduct repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Fabricate sheet metal components as needed for repairs.
Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Field Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and machine assembly.
Experience with installation and troubleshooting of machinery.
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics.
Skilled in fabricating sheet metal and conducting repairs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
