In this energetic role, you will support the daily operations of our food production line, ensuring products are made efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Your proactive approach will help maintain high-quality food safety practices and support seamless packaging processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food manufacturing while contributing to a team dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery on the production line to ensure smooth and efficient food processing. Assist with the setup, adjustment, and cleaning of equipment in accordance with sanitation standards. Follow all FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to uphold food safety standards. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to identify and address any deviations or defects. Support sanitation efforts by maintaining cleanliness of work areas and adhering to strict hygiene protocols. Package finished products accurately, ensuring proper labeling and secure sealing for distribution. Use basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and inventory tracking as needed. Skills Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety principles within a food processing plant environment. Experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong understanding of sanitation procedures essential for maintaining a clean and safe food processing environment. Mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting basic equipment issues. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and inventory management. Ability to understand English Familiarity with packaging processes in a food industry setting. Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced food processing plant environment.
