Assistant Home Stager (Experienced) Slate Staging and Design Hayward, CA Job Details Part-time $23 - $25 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Teamwork Inventory management Assembly Driving Organizational skills Full Job Description About Us Slate Staging & Design is a Bay Area based home staging and design company partnering with real estate agents and homeowners to prepare homes for market. We pride ourselves on thoughtful design, strategic execution, and delivering a high level of service. Clear communication, teamwork, and strong client relationships are at the core of everything we do. Position Overview We are seeking a Seasonal Assistant Stager with a minimum of 1 year of professional staging experience to support our team during our busiest season. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about interior design, detail-oriented, and thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. You'll play an integral role in installations, warehouse operations, and day-to-day staging logistics, with the opportunity to grow into a long-term or full-time position. Key Responsibilities Pull, move, organize, and return furniture and décor within the warehouse Assist with furniture and accessory selection and staging preparation Support on-site staging installations (placing décor, hanging artwork, coordinating with movers) Maintain warehouse organization and assist with inventory accuracy Conduct site visits (measurements, photos, and videos) Assemble furniture as needed Drive to pick up items and travel to job sites throughout the Bay Area (45-90 miles) Assist with staging removals (packing, minor wall touch-ups, reporting damages) Run staging-related errands (key pickup, sourcing accessories, change-outs) Capture photo/video content for social media (Instagram experience a plus) Assist with inventory systems (Stageforce and Notion experience is a plus) Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant Stager or in a similar staging role (required) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Interest in interior design and current furniture trends Reliable, positive, and team-oriented Ability to lift at least 50 lbs Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle Willingness to travel throughout the Bay Area Flexible availability Social media experience (especially Instagram) preferred Inventory management experience is a plus Schedule & Requirements Seasonal role with peak demand from early Spring through Fall Consistent availability during this time is required Strong attendance and reliability are essential How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter.
