Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual with interior design experience to help manage our furniture showroom and support our growing design business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a trained eye for design, and wants to grow their expertise in custom furniture and interior design within a hands-on, high-end setting. In this position, you will work closely with the owners to learn our full range of product and service offerings, assist clients throughout the sales and ordering process, and help drive new business. You'll become knowledgeable in custom furniture, workroom services, fabrics, and wallpaper — and, depending on experience, may take the lead on client-facing design work. Key Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day operations of the furniture showroom Learn and confidently present our furniture, fabric, wallpaper, and custom services Help customers place orders and provide outstanding customer service before and after the sale Work directly with the owners to support sales, design projects, and business growth Take on clients for custom furniture design, interior design consultations, and related projects — advising on selections, layouts, and fabric/finish choices Build strong relationships with clients and help grow repeat and referral business What We're Looking For Interior design experience (professional, freelance, or formal training) — required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Customer-focused mindset with keen attention to detail Ability to learn products and processes quickly Self-motivated and comfortable working in a small, collaborative team This role offers the opportunity to grow your skills, gain hands-on experience in custom furniture and interior design, and become an integral part of a creative, customer-focused business — with room to build your own book of design clients over time.
