This position is responsible for delivering, assembling, installing, reconfiguring, and removing commercial furniture at customer locations. Projects may include office, educational, healthcare, government, and other institutional environments. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, takes pride in quality workmanship, and works well as part of a team. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to complete physically demanding work safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Load, transport, unload, assemble, and install commercial furniture and related products. Install desks, workstations, conference tables, seating, storage units, shelving, modular systems, and other furniture components. Read installation plans, product drawings, floor plans, and written work instructions. Verify that products and components are complete, undamaged, and installed according to manufacturer specifications. Protect customer property, including floors, walls, doors, elevators, and existing furnishings. Use hand tools, power tools, dollies, carts, and other installation equipment safely. Complete furniture reconfigurations, relocations, punch-list items, and product removals. Maintain an organized and clean work area throughout each project. Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect products promptly. Follow company safety procedures and all applicable job-site requirements. Assist with warehouse, inventory, delivery, and other operational duties as needed. Qualifications Previous furniture installation, moving, construction, carpentry, warehouse, or related experience is preferred. Ability to use common hand and power tools safely. Ability to read basic floor plans and assembly instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team. Professional appearance and customer-service attitude. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to pass any required background screening or drug testing. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with team assistance or appropriate equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, push, pull, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to safely move furniture through offices, hallways, stairways, elevators, and active job sites. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions, including warehouses and buildings under construction. Ability to travel to customer locations within the assigned service area.
