Join our dynamic team as a Holiday Decorator and Assembler, where your creativity and technical skills will transform seasonal visions into stunning reality! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for designing, assembling, and installing holiday decorations that captivate and inspire. Assembly and Decorating Create and assemble custom holiday decorations, including wreaths, garlands, trees, bows, and themed displays. Design and construct decorative elements using company-provided materials such as lights, ornaments, ribbons, and greenery. Maintain high standards of quality and creativity in every project. Installation Install holiday lighting and decorations on structures according to customer specifications. Follow design plans and instructions provided by the department manager. Use tools and equipment to safely secure decorations, ensuring they are stable and visually appealing. On-Site Customization Modify and adjust decorations during installation to fit the specific needs of the property. Ensure all installations are completed neatly and meet the client's vision. Maintenance and Troubleshooting Check and test decorations, such as lights and wiring, before and after installation. Troubleshoot and repair issues, including replacing faulty bulbs, fixing broken parts Take-Down and Storage Safely remove decorations post-season, ensuring no damage to property or materials. Organize and return decorations to the storage facility, labeling and packing items properly for future use. Qualifications Skills and Abilities Strong hands-on skills in crafting and assembling decorations. Ability to work with tools and materials, including lights, wires, fasteners, and mounting equipment. Comfortable working outdoors and at heights using ladders, lifts, or scaffolding. A keen eye for design and detail to create polished, professional installations. Excellent time management and the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines. Experience Experience in holiday lighting, décor installation, crafting, or related fields is a plus. Knowledge of basic electrical wiring (e.g., for lighting connections) is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage based on experience and skill level. On-the-job training to develop skills in decoration assembly and installation techniques. Work Schedule Seasonal position (September through January) with opportunities to work additional projects during other seasons.
