Role Description The Office Furniture Installer is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL. The role involves assembling, installing, and configuring commercial office furniture systems, including desks, workstations, cubicles, modular walls, and related components. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting floor plans and installation instructions, loading and unloading materials, organizing tools and equipment, and ensuring work areas are clean and safe. The installer will collaborate with team members, supervisors, and clients to complete projects on schedule, address on-site issues, and maintain clear communication throughout each installation. The role also includes performing basic repairs, adjustments, and reconfigurations, while following company quality standards and safety procedures. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret installation plans, diagrams, and written instructions; basic measurement and math skills; attention to detail in layout and configuration. Hands-on skills in furniture assembly, use of hand and power tools, minor repairs, and safe material handling; ability to lift, carry, and move furniture and equipment as needed. Strong teamwork and communication skills, including coordination with crew members, supervisors, and clients; professional customer service and problem-solving abilities. Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a clean, orderly work environment on job sites. Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to company policies, use of proper PPE, and awareness of job site hazards. Previous experience in office furniture installation, commercial moving, construction, or related trades is preferred but not required. Reliable transportation to Orlando-area job sites and flexibility to work varying schedules based on project needs. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the company.
