Woodworker / Furniture Fabrication Shop Assistant Vicky Oh - Custom Woodworking | Honolulu, HI (Kalihi) Full-Time | 1-2 Positions Available Vicky Oh is a small, busy custom woodworking studio in Honolulu, and we're looking for 1 or 2 reliable, hands-on people to join our workshop team . We design and build custom furniture, architectural wood pieces, millwork, and one-of-a-kind projects for interior designers, hotels, restaurants, and residential clients throughout Hawaii. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building things, working with their hands, solving problems, and seeing a project go from raw material to a finished piece . What You'll Do Build and assemble custom furniture and woodworking projects Cut, sand, glue, assemble, and finish wood components Work with plywood, hardwoods, veneers, laminates, and other materials Use standard woodworking and shop tools Help keep the workshop organized and running efficiently Work closely with our small team on different custom projectsWho We're Looking For Woodworking or cabinetmaking experience is a big plus, but we are also open to someone with construction, fabrication, carpentry, or other hands-on experience who is motivated to learn. Most importantly, we need someone who: Shows up on time and consistently Is responsible and dependable Pays attention to details Takes pride in doing good work Is comfortable using tools and working in a shop environment Can follow instructions but also think and problem-solve Is willing to learn Works well as part of a small team Can safely lift and move furniture and materials Why Work With Us? We work with some of Hawaii's leading interior designers, architects, restaurants, hotels, and homeowners, and we care a lot about the quality of what leaves our workshop. Workshop located in Kalihi, Honolulu . Compensation Competitive pay based on experience and skill level.
