Position Overview The Commercial Office Furniture Installer will assist with the delivery, assembly, installation, and reconfiguration of office furniture at customer locations. This position includes loading and unloading furniture, using hand and power tools, following installation layouts, maintaining organized job sites, and working closely with other members of the installation team. Projects are completed locally and throughout the country. Travel is typically required approximately one to two times per month. Responsibilities Assemble and install commercial office furniture, including cubicles, desks, workstations, chairs, conference tables, storage units, and accessories Load and unload trucks, trailers, furniture, tools, and equipment Stage furniture and materials for installation Inspect furniture and materials for visible damage Read and follow installation instructions, work orders, layouts, and basic floor plans Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools Assist with furniture reconfigurations, relocations, and tear-downs Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Protect customer property and completed work during installation Assist with warehouse organization and material handling between projects Properly care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles Communicate clearly with supervisors, teammates, and customers Follow company safety procedures and installation standards Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work each day Represent Workspace Concepts professionally at every job site Requirements Experience using basic hand and power tools, including drills and screwdrivers Basic understanding of assembly, installation, construction, moving, or other hands-on work Ability to lift and carry at least 75 pounds Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform physical work for extended periods Willingness to travel approximately one to two times per month Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability Good communication skills, including responding to calls and messages from supervisors Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed Reliable transportation to the Nampa work location and local job sites Valid driver's license preferred Preferred Qualifications The following experience is helpful but not required: Commercial office furniture installation Construction, carpentry, warehouse, moving, delivery, or general labor Reading installation drawings, layouts, or floor plans Operating pallet jacks or other material-handling equipment Driving box trucks, trailers, or company vehicles Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Consistent work available Overtime opportunities depending on project schedules Paid travel time in accordance with company policy Per diem provided for qualifying overnight travel Benefits and Employee Perks Company-paid hotel accommodations for approved travel Tools and equipment provided for installation projects Company apparel or uniforms provided when applicable Travel opportunities throughout the country Hands-on work with a variety of projects and locations Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunities to learn new installation and construction-related skills Advancement opportunities as the company continues to grow Potential career paths into Lead Installer, Project Lead, Warehouse Operations, and Project Management Additional Benefits PTO for Full-time employees Health insurance Dental Vision Overtime opportunities Paid travel time Company shirts Performance bonuses Additional benefits may be available based on position and eligibility.
