Job Description

We're Hiring! Join the Wake Cumberland Watersports Crew! We're looking for a Shop Technician/Installer to join our team! This position combines hands-on shop work, assisting in creative flooring projects—perfect for someone who loves working with their hands and being part of a team that makes boats look amazing. At Wake Cumberland Watersports, we pride ourselves on craftsmanship, teamwork, and lake life culture. This is your chance to build skills, work on unique projects, and be part of a fun, supportive crew. Full or Part time job position available.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Customer service is a must! Friendly, professional interactions with customers are part of the job.
  • At least 1 year of marine technician experience (preferred but not required for the right candidate).
  • Safely operate a variety of tools to complete various tasks. (Hot knife, graph-tec plotter, drill, etc.)
  • Someone who's hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn new skills.
  • A team player who's excited about creating high-quality marine projects.
  • Provide assistance to other team members in the shop and office.
  • Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Must be comfortable climbing tall ladders, working at elevated levels and around water.
  • Positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Experience with boating industry preferred. Schedule
  • Monday - Friday
  • Off Weekends and Holidays (exception- some projects may require weekend work) Competitive pay and bonuses and commission available.
