Job Description
Overview KETTLER currently has an opening for a Renovation Specialist at The Aster, located in Cary, NC. If you have a good work ethic, a passion for helping people, and want an opportunity to learn and grow, KETTLER is the place for you. We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Renovation Specialist to oversee apartment renovation projects from start to finish while also completing punch work to ensure units are move-in ready. This position combines project coordination responsibilities with skilled maintenance and finishing work.
Compensation:
$35.00/hour We offer a robust Benefits Package including, but not limited to: Paid Time Off Health, Dental, Vision insurance; Life Insurance; Prescription coverage Tax-Advantaged Spending Accounts (HSA or FSA) 401(k) retirement plan with company match Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate renovation vendors and trades including painters, flooring contractors, cabinet installers, countertop vendors, plumbers, electricians, and cleaners. Develop and maintain renovation schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. Conduct quality inspections of work in progress and complete projects. Develop punch-list of required maintenance work items following approved trade vendor work. Obtain needed supplies and materials and complete all maintenance tasks including replacing light fixtures, ceiling fans, faucets, cabinet hardware, mirrors, blinds, and accessories. Perform minor drywall repair, touch-up painting, caulking, and related finishing work. Ensure renovated units meet company quality standards and are move-in ready. Qualifications 3+ years of apartment maintenance, construction, renovations, or related experience. Experience coordinating vendors and multiple trades. Knowledge and proven skills with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting. Understanding of HVAC repairs, CFC Certification preferred; Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to use a computer. Strong organizational and time management skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and perform physical maintenance tasks.Benefits
