Warranty & Repair Tech (Travel-Based)

Job Summary Fast-Paced Travel & Precision Repair Are you a skilled craftsman who enjoys the open road but prefers the "quick wins" of repair work over long-term construction builds? 3C Store Fixtures is seeking a specialized Warranty & Repair Technician to join our team. Unlike our long-term installation projects, this role focuses on high-frequency, short-duration trips to handle warranty claims, damage repairs, and fine-tuning for our retail and franchise clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities Frequent Travel:

Be ready to head out on short notice for nationwide client visits. These are typically shorter, high-frequency trips focused on resolving specific repair issues efficiently.

Precision Repairs:

Perform expert-level repairs on store fixtures, including cabinetry, millwork, and laminate surfaces damaged during shipping or use.

Installation:

Install replacement components with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring they align perfectly with existing store aesthetics.

On-Site Troubleshooting:

Evaluate damage on-the-fly and determine the most efficient, high-quality solution to restore the fixture to "like-new" condition.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct final inspections to ensure all repairs meet 3C's rigorous standards and client expectations.

Reporting:

Complete digital repair logs, document before-and-after photos, and manage expense tracking accurately.

Requirements Craftsmanship:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cabinet Making and Millwork Installation.

Technical Skill:

Specialized proficiency in Laminating (repair and application) is required.

Mobility:

Must be willing to travel 80%+ of the time. This role is designed for someone who genuinely enjoys being on the move with frequent transitions between locations.

Blueprints:

Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and technical blueprints.

Autonomy:

Strong problem-solving skills; you will often be the sole representative on-site and must be able to work independently.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and maintain stamina for a demanding travel schedule.

License:
