Omaha, Nebraska Job Description The Office Furniture Installer is responsible for delivering, assembling, installing, and reconfiguring commercial office furniture at customer locations. This role requires the ability to read installation layouts, safely use hand and power tools, and work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently while providing outstanding customer service. Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success. Responsibilities Assemble and install office furniture, including desks, cubicles, workstations, conference tables, filing systems, shelving, and seating. Load, unload, transport, and stage furniture for installation at customer sites. Read floor plans, installation drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate furniture placement. Safely operate hand and power tools during assembly and installation. Inspect furniture for quality and report any damage or discrepancies. Make adjustments and minor modifications to ensure proper fit and functionality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at customer locations. Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time while providing excellent customer service. Qualifications and Requirements Previous furniture installation, carpentry, construction, moving, or assembly experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools. Ability to read a tape measure and follow installation drawings. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
