- Outdoor Furniture/Accessory Store Reports to: Operations Supervisor Join the area's premier luxury outdoor living retailer!
We are currently seeking seasonal general labor support for our retail home and garden design center located in Watermill, New York. The candidate must have a valid drivers license , basic ability to speak English and have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude and neat and clean appearance.
Duties include:
yard facilities, plant maintenance, assisting in maintaining retail display, unpacking and unloading of goods, assisting in deliveries and pickups at clients home, and furniture maintenance. Weekend work required. Overtime available.
Daily responsibilities include:
Furniture Maintain and clean all furniture. Store and cover furniture in inclement weather. Secure vulnerable items from theft. Unload, unpack, label and place items out for sale. Plant material Water, clean and rotate plants. Unload, label and place product out for sale. Assist in the maintenance of the Retail and Over Winter Greenhouses. Facility General clean up of retail nursery and property. Keep Warehouse and Receiving area organized, neat and tidy. Maintain, store and use all tools and equipment properly. Empty all garbage in store at end of day. Placement and removal of Open flags start and end of day. Deliveries Assist in accepting and loading of all products. Work with Greenhouse Manager on planting jobs, services and Over Winter plant pick up and deliver. Assist Delivery Driver on all deliveries to client's home. Keep vehicles tidy and ready for delivery.
Qualifications:
