Furniture Sales & Interior Design Associate Coastal Home - Hilton Head Island, SC Full-Time | Commission-Based Coastal Home is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Furniture Sales & Interior Design Associate to join our team. We are looking for a self-starter who loves furniture, interior design, and working with customers. The ideal candidate will be motivated to build a strong clientele, develop extensive product knowledge, and consistently meet or exceed sales goals while contributing to a positive, team-oriented showroom environment. Responsibilities Meet and exceed individual and company sales goals Provide exceptional customer service from the initial showroom visit through delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with customers Consistently follow up with leads, quotes, and existing clients to turn opportunities into sales Assist customers with furniture selections, room planning, fabrics, finishes, accessories, and indoor/outdoor living spaces Develop strong knowledge of our indoor and outdoor furniture brands and products Work independently while maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude Identify customer needs and provide creative solutions Maintain a professional appearance and manner Keep the showroom organized, staged, and maintained to the highest standards Assist with daily showroom re-staging, including moving furniture and accessories Manage multiple customers and projects in a fast-paced retail environment Qualifications Interior design experience required Furniture sales experience strongly preferred Indoor and/or outdoor furniture product knowledge is a plus Strong personal sales skills and a proven ability to close sales Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with a proactive work ethic Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general computer systems Ability to problem-solve quickly and accurately Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure Ability to move furniture and accessories as needed Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays Employment & Benefits Full-time position Commission-based compensation 90-day probationary period Health insurance available after 90 days Dental insurance Vision insurance Employee discount Paid vacation after one year of employment If you are passionate about furniture and design, enjoy building lasting customer relationships, and are motivated by sales success, we would love to hear from you.
