Role Description The Home Improvement Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gallatin, TN. In this role, the technician will perform a variety of home repair and installation services, including drywall patching and repair, ceiling fan and light fixture installation, hardware replacement, and dryer vent cleaning. Daily responsibilities include assessing work orders, communicating clearly with customers about scope, pricing, and timelines, and completing tasks in accordance with safety standards and local regulations. The technician will maintain tools and equipment, ensure job sites are clean and organized, and document completed work. The role also involves punctual arrival to appointments, providing professional customer service, and supporting flexible scheduling needs. Pay range 20-35 based on experience. Qualifications Hands-on home repair skills, including drywall repair and patching, basic carpentry, and general hardware installation. Experience with ceiling fan and light fixture installation, including safe electrical work within allowed scope and adherence to safety guidelines. Ability to perform dryer vent cleaning and routine maintenance tasks with attention to safety and efficiency. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain work, pricing, and timelines clearly and respectfully. Good time-management and organizational skills, with reliability in arriving on time and completing jobs as scheduled. Comfort working independently in customers' homes, using sound judgment and maintaining a professional demeanor.
