Job Description
Maintenance/Construction Professional works within the TriCities market of Northeast Tennessee and will interact with the company's portfolio of properties - mainly tasked with turning, renovating, and sometimes remodeling units. The schedule is 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 6PM, so every weekend is a 3 day weekend. The team member will be provided a company truck with tool box housed at the TriCities office for daily use but should provide most of his own hand tools for day to day jobs. Larger tools like table saws, pressure washers, lifts, generators, etc. are company-owned and provided as needed. Company shirts are also provided for daily wear. Paid vacation is earned with longevity of employment. The team member should be comfortable with most or all of these minor and miscellaneous types of repair work, like: Bad switches and light fixtures, leaking toilets, leaking pipes, water heater replacement, flooring installation, vinyl siding installation, appliance installation, painting, cleaning, woodworking, sheetrock work, patching, painting, roof leak repair, decks and railings, etc. The team member should be able to work alone frequently without constant oversight, as well as working with other team members in a small group for larger jobs. The team member will be given work orders to complete throughout the day, purchasing materials through the company account as necessary and accurately reporting purchases and labor hours on work orders daily for back office reconciliation. The team member may also be tasked with working on larger renovation projects that can last up to 4 weeks and would need to maintain focus and stick to the plan. We need a trustworthy, hardworking individual willing to commit to 40 hours of work per week for good pay and perks, valid drivers license, and can pass a criminal background check.
