0 Houston, TX Job Details Part-time $17 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Merchandising Moving Ladder use Groundskeeping Full Job Description The Shop Associate plays a key role in ensuring that furniture and other shop merchandise is appropriately placed in The Charity Guild of Catholic Women Consignment Shop to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for shoppers. You will have the opportunity to support the shop's volunteer workers and shoppers in several ways to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the shop. Key job responsibilities

• Assist with the placement of furniture, art and merchandise on the Shop selling floor.
• Assist with loading and unloading furniture, rugs, clothing and other merchandise.
• Assist cashiers and customers with carrying out merchandise and re-stocking supplies.
• Assist customers with accessing large items or those placed on upper shelves of the Shop.
• Assist with maintaining the outside grounds and inside shop floor to ensure a safe, neat and organized environment.
• Implement safe work procedures.
• Provide a friendly and proactive approach with customers and members. Shop Associate Qualifications
• Self-motivated, diligent, reliable, focused and organized in work.
• Strong team player, prepared to step in and help team members to complete tasks or assist customers.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
• Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
• Other shop assistance duties as required.

Shop Associate Schedule and Pay The Shop Associate works a part-time schedule, typically up to 29 hours per week, based on the needs of the business.

Workdays are:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 am

• 3:00 pm
• 6 hours/day Saturday 10:00 am
• 3:00 pm
• 5 hours/day Starting pay for the Shop Associate position is $17.
