Every car is a full commission: donor vehicle in, complete teardown, in-house wide-body fabrication, paint, tuning, and final assembly — then out the door to a client or onto the show floor at events like Monterey Car Week and Goodwood. Read the tier descriptions carefully and apply to the one that matches your experience. Job Description Tier 1 is where every build starts. You will spend roughly 75% of your time on disassembly — taking client and donor 911s down to the shell in a controlled, documented way — and 25% on reassembly , supporting the Tier 2 and Tier 3 technicians as cars come back together. This is a hands-on, detail-first role for someone who is organized, mechanically capable, and wants to learn the full bespoke build process from the ground up. Responsibilities Disassembly (approx. 75%) Strip Porsche 997/991 vehicles for wide-body conversion: bumpers, fenders, quarter panels, door skins, rockers, lights, trim, glass, and underbody panels Remove interiors, seats, carpet, headliners, and door cards without damage Disconnect and label wiring, sensors, and connectors so everything goes back exactly as it came out Remove suspension, wheels, brakes, and exhaust components as required by the build sheet Bag, tag, and photograph every fastener, clip, and component; log parts into the vehicle's inventory tracker Prep panels and body for the fabrication and paint teams (trim removal, masking support, surface cleanup) Keep the work bay, lifts, and tooling clean and organized at all times Reassembly (approx. 25%) Reinstall interiors, trim, lights, and underbody panels under the direction of Tier 2/3 technicians Assist with fitting wide-body panels, bumpers, and hardware during final assembly Torque fasteners to spec and verify against build documentation Support final detail and pre-delivery checks What We're Looking For 1+ years of hands-on automotive experience (shop, dealership, body shop, restoration, or serious personal projects) Comfortable with hand tools, air/electric tools, and working under a two-post lift Careful and methodical — you label things, you take photos, you don't lose hardware Able to read a build sheet and follow written procedures Able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet most of the day Valid driver's license and clean driving record (you will move client vehicles) Own basic hand tools (or willingness to build a set — [tool allowance available])
