If you have a passion for fixing and restoring furniture, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and enjoy working independently, this opportunity is perfect for you. Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose furniture issues including but not limited to scratches, dents, broken parts, and upholstery problems. Perform repairs, utilizing appropriate tools, equipment, and techniques. Restore furniture finishes through refinishing, staining, painting, or reupholstering. Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all repair and restoration projects. Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of the repair process, and completion timelines. Maintain good accurate documentation, before and after pictures of repairs. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a furniture repair technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of furniture construction, materials, and repair techniques. Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills
