Overview Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Delivery Helper in this engaging 1099 independent contractor role! In this energetic position, you will be a vital part of delivering quality furniture and home goods to customers' homes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. This role does require physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds. You will be working in and out of the elements, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of the team. Responsibilities Assist with loading, unloading, and moving furniture safely using manual handling techniques Load furniture onto delivery vehicles, ensuring secure placement for safe transit Deliver furniture items to customers' homes and install in the room they choose. Follow route plans accurately using mobile devices or GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries Load and unload furniture efficiently, practicing safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques to prevent injuries . Ability to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly using safe lifting practices and manual handling skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously Comfortable working with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation You will be required to have your own transportation to and from the warehouse. The location is in New Braunfels, Texas. The pay is flat per day this is

This is a 1099 position, if you are looking for hourly this is not the position for you. The work week is Tuesday-Saturday with Sunday and Mondays off. Payday is every two weeks on a Wednesday.
