Overview Are you dependable, hardworking, and enjoy helping customers? Join our team at St. Vincent de Paul West Bend as a Furniture Attendant! We are looking for a dedicated Furniture Attendant to join our dynamic retail environment. This role is essential in ensuring the presentation, organization, and cleanliness of furniture displays, creating an inviting shopping experience for customers. The Furniture Attendant is responsible for receiving, pricing, moving, displaying, and maintaining furniture and large donated items while providing excellent customer service. The role requires physical activity and teamwork to help keep our sales floor organized, safe, and inviting. Responsibilities Receive and unload donated furniture and household items Inspect donations for quality and safety standards Move, stage, and display furniture on the sales floor Assist customers with furniture purchases and loading items into vehicles Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work collaboratively with team members and volunteers Follow all store safety procedures and donation guidelines Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods Qualifications Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 40 pounds Positive attitude and customer service skills Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within a vibrant retail setting.
