Job Overview CLC Engineering is seeking a meticulous and skilled Deburr / Hand Finisher to join our manufacturing team. Minimum experience required but attention to detail is a must. In this role you will be responsible for refining and finishing metal components to meet precise specifications, ensuring high-quality standards across all production runs. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our products by removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections using a variety of hand tools and finishing techniques. This position offers an important opportunity to contribute to a small aerospace manufacturing shop where attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are highly valued. Duties Use hand tools such as files, picks, and scrapers to remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections on machined parts. Inspect finished components using microscopes instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to blueprints. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to understand required finishing specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work area by following safety standards in production and properly handling materials and tools. Collaborate with machine operators and assembly teams to ensure seamless workflow and proper finishing of parts before assembly or packaging. Troubleshoot minor issues with industrial equipment or tooling to minimize downtime during finishing processes. Experience Proven shop experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments, preferably within a factory setting involving CNC machining, stamping presses, or CNC milling machines. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and shop math for dimensional measurements. Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial equipment operation and materials handling practices. Ability to operate hand tools efficiently and safely in a fast-paced production environment. Basic understanding of factory processes including packaging, materials handling, tooling setup, and assembly line procedures.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
