We are now hiring a Deburr Hand Finisher.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Deburr Hand Finisher, responsibilities will include but may not be limited to: Grind and smooth surfaces of items, requiring the ability to operate common portable hand tools.
Select grade of abrasive belt, wheel or disk according to specifications, knowledge of abrasives, and condition of metal, and attach to grinder.
Replace worn abrasive disks, wheels and belts.
Frequent handling of moderate to heavy components; may include walking or standing most of the time.
Follow demonstrated steps or written instructions.
Work to meet customer and internal production schedules.
Maintain high level of integrity dealing with all departments within the organization.
Adhere to company policies and procedures described in Employment Handbook.
Other duties as assigned by management.
ABOUT YOU
High School Diploma or GED.
Previous deburr or aerospace experience is preferred.
The ability to interpret aerospace blueprints is a must.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to read & follow verbal & written work instructions in English.
Ability to comprehend and apply detailed written & verbal instructions.
Team player who can perform in a fast-paced environment with sense of urgency.
Quality oriented with a hands-on personality, "do it right the first time" personality.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to complete tasks within a timely manner.
Ability to work individually and handle multitasking.
Ability to take instructions and communicate instructions as needed.
Manual dexterity skills required.
