ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete work orders/travelers when they are scheduled to be finalized. Utilizing
ISO 9001/AS9100
standards. Understand the production process in the various areas which include tape wrapping, cutting, and compression molding and hand layup of composites. Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments. Mix and measure resin and adhesive. Adjust temperature controls of ovens. Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences. Maintain production or processing equipment. Use of upper body mobility, such as bending, use of arms and hands, and standing for the majority of the time.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 2-3
years of experience preferred. Ability to lift 50lbs. Repetitive motion
ITAR REQUIREMENTS
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. No travel required for this position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant standing/walking/sitting for at least 8 hours. Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, stooping or carrying up to 50 lbs. Min 35lbs. Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required. Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s). Occasional extending of arms to reach overhead, at shoulder level and below shoulder level. Occasional forklift driving required.
