PRECISION FINISHING TECHNICIAN III
- B SHIFT As a Precision Finishing Technician III for Rocket Lab you will be deburring / finishing additive manufactured parts used to build Rutherford, an innovative electric turbo-pump rocket engine powering Rocket Labs Electron launch vehicle.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in part finishing (machine, cast, forge, or print). Attention to detail and time management skills. High-level of manual dexterity skills and hand-eye coordination. Able to maintain a clean, safe and efficient work area.THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE
Experience with additive manufacturing or investment casting. Experience with high strength steels and Inconel alloys. Knowledgeable in part QA processes and dye penetrant testing. Knowledgeable in TIG, Laser, and Electron beam welding. Experience using microscopes and pencil grinders.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willing to work B Shift (Monday- Thursday 3:15pm-1:45am) Stand and walk for entire shift (8+ hours) on various work surfaces Climb ladders and work at elevated height small spaces, awkward positions, and tight areas as needed Perform repetitive motions including bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, and stooping Use hands with precision to handle, control, and operate tools, instruments, and equipment Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 25 lbs.
