Job Title:

Saw Operator and General Labor Associate Job Description Join our dynamic team where you will initially start in the Shipping department for 2-3 days to gain insight into day-to-day operations. Once trained, you will move into your designated role, whether it be Saw Operating, General Labor, Shipping, or Forklift Operating. Responsibilities Identify, measure, and cut material accurately. Clean materials after cutting. Collaborate effectively in a team environment. Read tape measures and understand calipers and micrometers. Perform simple mathematical calculations. Lift 50 lbs constantly throughout the day. Obtain training and certification on forklift operation. Maintain a high level of work ethic in a hands-on environment. Stay actively engaged throughout the workday. Essential Skills Proficiency with tape measures and calipers (testing required). Experience in manufacturing settings. Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift operation experience. General labor skills. Machine operating experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Expect to be on your feet for 8 hours a day, engaging in repetitive lifting. The busiest hours are from 2-5:30 pm when shipments leave the facility. The first shift runs from 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, while the second shift is currently from 10am-5:30pm, with plans to change to 1pm-9:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loves Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
