In this role, you will take ownership of the blasting department's evening workflow, operating specialized industrial cleaning equipment while collaborating with our furnace and testing teams. Key Responsibilities Blasting & Finishing Operation:

Safely set up and operate industrial surface-finishing equipment, including the Wheelabrator, rubber barrel blaster, and vapor blaster to ensure parts are properly cleaned and finished.

Workflow Optimization:

Organize the department's daily workload and provide cross-functional support to the pitside and pusher furnace areas as needed.

Machine & Tool Usage:

Safely utilize grinders, sanders, cut-off saws, and quality testing tools (Rockwell and Brinell testers).

Logistics & Material Handling:

Safely operate a forklift to load equipment, transfer parts, and keep materials moving smoothly through the department.

Quality & Process Control:

Monitor blasting processes to maintain high quality standards, hit target piece counts/weight levels, and keep accurate daily production records.

Safety & Standard Operating Procedures:

Follow and help establish written procedures for equipment operation, emergency protocols, and quality control while maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.

Physical Capability:

Heavy industrial stamina with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly throughout the shift.

Reliability First:

A proven history of excellent attendance and a rock-solid, consistent work record.

Technical Adaptability:
