Must be able to train on 1st for a minimum of 90 days.

Essential Duties:

Sets up machine by retrieving and loading large heavy plates of steel using overhead crane, downloading program, entering parameters of job, selecting type of cut, and cutting first piece. Programs standard shapes. Operates burntable by monitoring cutting and adjusting heat in torches, pre-heat times, and pierce rate. Unloads skeleton and parts using overhead crane, jib crane and/or magnets. Cleans and scrapes parts and cuts up scrap. Performs first-piece and in-process inspection by checking material thickness and dimensions of part per blueprint using calipers, tape measure and calculator. Inspects parts according to C=O chart. Completes inspection form. Cleans burntable and performs minor preventative maintenance such as checking coolant levels and gases and changing or adjusting them as needed. Changes oxyfuel tips. Completes Plasma Table maintenance log. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
