0 Wichita, KS Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Inspection gauge Mechanical blueprint interpretation Fabrication Defect detection (quality control) Maintaining an organized workspace Blueprint specification interpretation Sanding tools Monitoring dimensions High school diploma or GED Dimensional measurements Precision measurement in machining Clean workspace maintenance Polishing Full Job Description Responsibilities Grind, file, sand, and polish metal surfaces to aircraft standards using hand tools Cleans interior surfaces of holes using reamer or burr whip Remove burrs and smooth out contoured surfaces with air tools, belt sanders, Dotcos Ensure organized and clean work area Perform repetitive motions involving wrist/arms/hands Skills Required Read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, drawings Ability to use vibratory hand tools for extended periods of time Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do the job Ability to stand for lond periods of time Must be able to deburr parts in a safe and efficient manner Visually distinguish differences in parts Exercise good housekeeping practices Self-motivated Countersink experience (preferred) Verify dimensions and radius, using micrometers, dial indicators and calipers Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent Machine shop experience preferred 1 Years Deburr Experience Required Pay & Benefits $18+ based on experience 401K Matching Excellent Health Insurance
