•$80,000 a year 4 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Machine shop presses Press operation Teamwork High school diploma or GED Hydraulics Hand tools Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Class A Press Operator / Die Try-OutJob Summary We are seeking an experienced Class A Press Operator / Die Try-Out Technician to safely and efficiently set up and operate hydraulic and mechanical presses while producing high-quality stamped parts. The ideal candidate will have strong press operation experience, the ability to read engineering prints, and a commitment to quality, safety, and productivity. Responsibilities Set up and operate hydraulic and mechanical presses. Select, install, and adjust tooling and dies according to work instructions. Perform die forming operations utilizing press controls and equipment features. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, engineering drawings, and product specifications. Understand blank development layouts and verify quality requirements. Meet production schedules and project deadlines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Coordinate material availability with the Material Handling team. Communicate quality concerns, production issues, and equipment needs promptly. Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong knowledge of press operation, die setup, and die try-out processes. Ability to operate cranes, hand tools, torches, tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment. Understanding of measurement systems, gauges, calibration procedures, and print reading. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Previous press operator experience required. Die try-out experience preferred. Schedule 1st Shift Monday through

Friday:

6:00 AM

•2:30 PM Currently working overtime until 4:30

PM Saturdays:

6:00 AM

•2:00 PM 2nd Shift Monday through

Friday:

2:00 PM

•10:30 PM Overtime may extend shifts until 12:00 AM or 2:00 AM on

Fridays Saturdays:

2:00 PM
