$20•$22 per hour, based on experience Overtime may be available after training, depending on business needs Qualifications for
Grinder Hand:
Ability to read blueprints Surface grinding Cast qualifications Dressing grind wheels (flat and radius) Standard measuring equipment (micrometers, bore gauges, etc.) use. Understand micro finishes and GD & T tolerancing (concentricity, radii, squareness, roundness, and run-out, etc.)
Daily Job Requirements:
Follow all process documentation and work instructions Operate various grinding machines for production and modification of existing parts Use standard measuring equipment to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure compliance Follow all safety rules and practices Demonstrate good dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small parts Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate or GED 1-2 years of experience in relevant grinding applications are preferred
