Wire EDM Programmer/Operator

We are looking for a 1st, 2nd, or W/E shift Wire EDM programmer and machine operator familiar with Mitsubishi

MV 12005 EDM

Machine. This position also has the potential of cross training as a 6 axis Cutter grinder / Pin Punch Programmer/Operator. Experience with a FANUC robotic arm a plus. Must have minimum of 2 years' experience with EDM cutting.

Primary Responsibilities:

1st

Shift:

7am start time; (Typically Mon-Fri 7a-4p; Sat 7a-12p), 40-55 hours per week is to be expected. 2nd

Shift:

4pm start time; (Typically Mon-Thur 4p-4:30a), 40-55 hours per week is to be expected.

Weekend Shift:

6am start time; (Typically Fri, Saturday, Sunday 6am-630pm) Training on 1st shift as necessary (7am start time). Quality checking machined parts, calculating dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers Perform repairs where needed Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines Qualifications and Skills Proficient computer skills Effective communication and conflict resolution skills Familiarization with manual mills, lathes, saws, and surface grinders and drill press' a plus. Must possess strong work values; Dependability, honesty, self-confidence and a positive attitude A minimum of 2-4 years of EDM experience High School Diploma or equivalent is required
