2nd Shift CNC Grinder Operator (Multi-Axis)

Spec Tool Company is seeking a skilled CNC Grinder Operator to support our high-precision grinding production environment. This role is ideal for someone with machining or grinding experience who is ready to work with multi-axis CNC grinding equipment and produce tight-tolerance ground components. About Us With over 50 years in business, Spec Tool specializes in high-tolerance, precision cutting tools using advanced materials like CBN, PCD, and ceramics. We support industries including aerospace, automotive, and energy. ✔ Temperature-controlled production floor ✔ Stable, team-oriented environment What You'll Do Set up and operate multi-axis CNC grinding machines Read and interpret blueprints, routings, and specifications Perform first-piece and in-process inspections Monitor tooling (wheels, holders, etc.) and adjust as needed Maintain tight tolerances and ensure product quality Troubleshoot basic machining or process issues Accurately record production data in ERP system Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area What We're Looking For CNC machining experience preferred, but not required Ability to read prints and understand machining processes Strong attention to detail and quality standards Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Reliable, team-oriented, and self-motivated Schedule & Benefits 2nd Shift

• 4-day work week (10-hour shifts) Overtime available based on business needs
