Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions. Basic math skills, including arithmetic, geometry, and measurements. Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required. Experience working with precision measurements, assembly, machining, finishing, or inspection processes preferred. Experience operating material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, or forklifts is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to accurately read blueprints and specifications. Experience with precision measuring instruments is beneficial. Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, position, and move components manually or with lifting equipment. Comfortable working with precision tools, measuring devices, and production equipment. Ability to maintain accuracy while handling detailed finishing and inspection tasks. Job Duties Prepare, clean, and assemble precision components according to specifications. Finish workpieces using manual lapping plates and automated finishing equipment. Read blueprints, work orders, and instructions to determine product requirements. Inspect and measure finished components using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met. Move and position materials using cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
