•We are seeking a dedicated Plasma Table Operator to join our team on a full-time basis, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating plasma cutting tables to precisely cut and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires prior experience with plasma table operation, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must pass a drug test prior to employment and demonstrate reliable work habits. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in industrial or manufacturing settings who are eager to contribute to high-quality production processes.
ATTENDANCE IS A MUST.
Responsibilities Operate plasma cutting tables with precision, ensuring accurate cuts according to detailed blueprints and specifications Set up and calibrate plasma equipment, including adjusting parameters for different materials and thicknesses Monitor machine performance during operation, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime Follow safety protocols rigorously, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety guidelines Perform routine maintenance and inspections on plasma tables to ensure optimal functionality Document production activities, including job completion reports and machine logs Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Skills Proven experience operating plasma cutting tables in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of laboratory management principles and laboratory techniques (applicable for process control) Familiarity with laboratory procedures such as specimen collection/processing, which enhances attention to detail Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, or veterinary terminology is a plus for understanding complex technical documents Excellent understanding of safety procedures related to plasma cutting and industrial equipment use Basic life support (BLS) certification is advantageous but not required; safety awareness is essential Candidates should possess excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience in hospital or research laboratory settings involving catheterization or spinal tap procedures is beneficial but not mandatory. A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and passing all pre-employment screening requirements—including drug testing—is essential for success in this role.
