Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Billet Team Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality billets while minimizing material waste by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Duties/Responsibilities Prepare materials in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while minimizing material waste. Operate a forklift to transport raw materials, finished goods, and other production items. Accurately mix materials and operate billet pressing equipment. Load and unload ovens using a forklift during the billet curing process. Remove billets from screens after curing and clean screens for reuse. Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor if needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including machines & equipment Follow company safety policies and procedures, including the proper handling, storage, and disposal of materials. Report quality, safety, equipment, or production issues to the supervisor in a timely manner. Assist other production teams as needed to support manufacturing operations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills Ability to adhere to a strict safety focused work environment Ability to follow directions and work well in a team Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment Ability to process trouble shoot a plus Ability to use basic hand tools and read a tape measure

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping Must be able to work in changing climatic conditions (cold in Winter & hot in Summer) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
