Commensurate with experience Charles G. G. Schmidt and Company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Operator to support quality and accuracy in our daily operations. This position involves inspecting tooling and operating a tool presetter, tool balancer, and laser etching machine. Responsibilities Perform quality checks to verify tooling meets required specifications. Set up and operate a tool presetter, tool balancer, and laser etching machine. Use measuring and inspection equipment to check accuracy. Record inspection results and report discrepancies. Work with the production team to address quality issues. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, consistent work. Ability to follow work instructions and maintain clear records. Comfortable operating precision equipment and using measuring tools. Experience in quality control, machining, or tooling is preferred. Experience with tool presetting, balancing, or laser etching is a plus. CAD drafting experience is a strong plus and would be a valuable asset in this role.
