About the role We're a jewelry manufacturer and retailer . We're adding a polisher to our bench team to handle prepolish and final polish on pieces in 14K and 18K gold, platinum, and sterling silver. This is hands-on bench work, not a training program. You'll be working on live customer pieces and production runs daily. What you'll do Prepolish castings and fabricated pieces before setting — remove sprue marks, file marks, porosity, and scratches Final polish after setting without rounding edges, softening details, or catching stones Work across metals: 14K/18K yellow, white, and rose gold, platinum, and silver Finish a range of piece types — rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, chain Apply finishes as specced: high polish, matte, brushed, hammered, sandblast Handle rhodium prep on white gold Steam, ultrasonic, and final QC before pieces move to setting, QC, or shipping Flag defects that polishing can't fix (porosity, thin walls, bad solder joints) instead of polishing through them Maintain wheels, compounds, and lathe area; follow scrap and lemel recovery procedures
