Job Description

Role Overview:
This position involves maintaining tooling to ensure the production of high-quality parts by managing process changes, addressing non-conformances, and optimizing equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct safety, environmental, quality, cost, delivery, and morale checks, applying plant policies. Control and maintain tooling according to process requirements using quality control tables and standards. Monitor conditions to prevent production issues and communicate results through shift reports and visual management. Respond promptly to production needs, execute nonconformance containment and repair, and collaborate with engineers and vendors for improvements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as loss elimination and Monozukuri.
Qualifications & Skills:
2-4 years of machining or tooling experience. Understanding of metric measurement systems. Ability to respond quickly to production requirements.
Working Conditions:
Standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, lifting up to 35 lbs., and occasional travel for training or support. Overtime may be required.
